Black Guard Space Marines
The new orders had been deciphered. It took techmarine Damal two days to piece the segments of the message together because of warps storms above but he had finally managed it. The 3rd company was to assault Kurtzman's Dale. Against his own will, Enoch gave the orders.
Private Logs, Commander Chaplain Enoch:
Much of me despairs on the course I must now embark upon. Many of the brothers have showed their disaproval of the mission, none are eager to pursue it and wait for countermanding order to come from above. There is enough evil on this planet to face let alone fight a force representing the Imperium and our beloved Emperor. I have little love for Inquistor Bock, his rhetoric, vain self-importance and arrogance. But to fight the brave sisters would be terrible for both forces considering the casualties that will ensue.
Force Commander Nassir had given the orders on behalf of the Chapter Master himself and Inquisitor Kehlman from the Ordo Malleus. I have the distinct feeling that the Black Guard has become an important chess piece in the retrieval of the special artifact. I cannot even parley with Bock on this matter, I assume those giving the orders would like a suprise attack to give them an important advantage. There has been much deviciseness within the Inquisition to know that they plot and scheme against each other as much as they focus on threats to the Imperium. Much pressure must have been brought to bear to force the Chapter Master himself to give the order.
If it is in my power, this artifact will be forever lost or destroyed, screw those who scheme for their own purpose at the expsense of those on the front lines. The memories of this campaign will be bitter.
