Superbly painted Chaos Lord of Khorne Diorama, the lord has been converted and is armed with Lightning Claws one of the most feared wargear options in the game. He gains an extra attack and denies his foes any armour save, furthermore he may re-roll any failed roll to wound. Bearing the Mark of Khorne this model also gains +1 to Strength making it even easier to wound the enemies of the Blood God.

Eldest of the Chaos Gods Khorne is the warrior's god, his servents thirst only for battle and to take skulls in his name in glorious close combat. Armed with Lightning Claws and able to join Berzerker Squads in a Chaos Rhino or Chaos Land Raider this Lord is an able servent of Khorne effective enough in combat to challenge mighty characters or kill entire squads.

I really enjoyed building this diorama and converting and painting everything. There is a bit of putty work in here as well as bits from many different figures. This makes a superb centerpiece for any chaos army, the lord is removeable and towers over normal troops. This presentation piece can also be used as a superb piece of wargaming terrain. I especially enjoyed making the dark green marble-like walls of the Space Marine's ruined monestary, and the pool of blood around the fallen marines. Also I really like the bloody graffiti on the rear wall, and the bloody symbol of Khorne on the Lord's cape. I went with green eyes and claws on the lord to make them pop out against his red armour, and I love the screaming faces inset in his headgear. This whole piece required many hours of work and allowed me to refine several techniques.
