This Commission is of Roboute Guilliman the noble Primarch of the Ultramarines Chapter of Space Marines. A master planner and tactician Roboute Guilliman was possibly the most successful of all the Primarchs in the Great Crusade. Able to take into consideration a multitude of possiblities and scenarios he was all but undefeatable when he made planetfall.

To represent the mighty Primarch I chose to put him in Terminator Armour, and to give him the fabled Gauntlets of Ultramar, mighty artefacts of legend. I added the Crux Terminatus from Blood Angesl Chaplain Lemartes, and the Crux and Laurel design from a Dreadnought Sarcouphagus to the Gauntlets to make them more unique and impressive. Long hair was sculpted out of Green Stuff at the request of the buyer.

Extensive convesions always offer excellent opportunities to paint. The hair is the typical blonde of the Ultramarines, I also painted the pupils of the eyes with Ultramarines Blue. I really like the gold trim on his tabard, and the red borders of the Purity Seals tying the figure together.
