Superbly painted Space Marine Librarian armed with a Force Weapon, Plasma Pistol and Jump Pack. This model has not been painted with any Chapter markings and is appropriate for virtually any Space Marine Chapter. It is especially appropriate to accompany Blood Angels or Black Templars Space Marines.

His Force Weapon and Plasma Pistol give him +1 attack in assault and deny his enemies any armour saves. The Force Axe can kill outright a model wounded if it fails a Leadership test, regardless of its wounds. His Plasma Pistol ensures that he has enough firepower to threaten light vehicles, the jump pack makes him even deadlier allowing him to easily target vehicles weaker rear armour. The Pistol is also AP 2 able to melt away even the toughest of armours. A Jump Pack allows him to Deep Strike in many scenarios, it also allows him to bolster an Assault Squad.

Librarians are fun to paint bringing out all the intricate details is rewarding. I especially like the Force Axe's glowing blade, and the focusing lense on the Plasma Pistol. I also enjoyed painting the book at his hip and added a silver trim, that can't be appreciated in the pictures here, and the design on his loincloth is hand painted as well and looks good. The addition of a Jump Pack to this particular model makes his pose even more dynamic, I am very pleased with the way it turned out.
