Held aloft by the power of malicous thought, they scour the battlefield unleashing devastating Warp Blasts at enemy armour or harrying enemy psykers with Psychic Screams.

Its claws and legs atrophied and useless, the Zoanthrope is far from defensless. A deadly predator able to feed on the very minds of its victims Zoanthropes have no need of rending claws or scything talons to hunt. Their thoughts alone are enough to kill.

I really enjoyed painting this figure, I saw an interesting paint scheme for a Zoanthrope in White Dwarf #253 and wanted to try my hand at something similar. And I must say I am well pleased with the result. I wanted to make the carapace look very bonelike and the red markings make him incredibly sinister.
